Golden Lotus Vietnamese Kitchen
Eighteen-hour pho broth and street-style banh mi, made fresh daily
About Golden Lotus Vietnamese Kitchen
Golden Lotus Vietnamese Kitchen brings Saigon street cooking to Toronto’s west end. Our pho broth simmers for eighteen hours with charred ginger, onion, and whole spices before it ever reaches a bowl, and our banh mi are built on baguettes baked fresh each morning by a bakery two blocks away. The room is bright and casual with counter seating along the window, and we turn tables quickly at lunch for the office crowd. Vegetarian and vegan versions of nearly every dish are available on request.

Frequently Asked Questions
01Is your pho broth vegetarian friendly?
Our classic beef broth is not, but we simmer a separate mushroom and daikon broth every morning for our vegetarian and vegan pho. It is cooked in dedicated pots.
02Do you take reservations?
We seat walk-ins only during lunch and dinner rush. For groups of eight or more, call us before 11 AM and we will hold the long table at the back.
03Where do your baguettes come from?
They are baked each morning by a family bakery two blocks east of us and delivered twice a day, which is why our banh mi crust shatters the way it should.
