About Shree Ganesha Mandir
Shree Ganesha Mandir in Markham is a traditional Hindu temple with sixteen consecrated murtis, daily morning and evening aarti, and resident priests available for pujas, weddings, housewarmings, and last rites both at the temple and at home. Our fully vegetarian prasad kitchen serves after every evening aarti and prepares full meals for festival days. The temple complex includes a cultural hall used for classical dance and music classes, a small library of scripture in four languages, and a yoga and meditation studio open to the public.

01What time is daily aarti?
Morning aarti is at 8 AM and evening aarti at 7 PM, every day. Prasad is served in the dining hall immediately after the evening aarti, and everyone present is welcome to it.
02Can I book a priest for a ceremony at my home?
Yes. Our priests perform griha pravesh, satyanarayan katha, weddings, naming ceremonies, and last rites at private homes across the GTA. Book through the temple office at least two weeks ahead.
03Is the temple kitchen fully vegetarian?
Completely. No meat, fish, egg, onion, or garlic is used or permitted anywhere in the prasad kitchen, and the same applies to any food brought in for temple events.
