About Casa Alegría Latin Bistro
Casa Alegría is a Latin American bistro in Mississauga run by two sisters from Medellín and a chef from Lima. The kitchen moves between Colombian comfort food — bandeja paisa, arepas, sancocho — and Peruvian coastal cooking, with ceviche cured to order and a rotating causa of the week. Friday and Saturday nights bring live cumbia and salsa from 8 PM, and the bar leans on pisco, aguardiente, and fresh tropical juices. Weekend brunch runs until 3 PM and is the busiest service of our week.

01When is the live music?
Live cumbia and salsa run Friday and Saturday from 8 PM to 11 PM. There is no cover charge, but tables in the music room are usually reserved a week ahead.
02Do you have gluten-free options?
Yes. Our arepas, ceviche, causa, and most grilled plates are naturally gluten free, and the kitchen keeps a separate fryer for gluten-free items.
03Is the patio dog friendly?
It is. Water bowls are on the house, and the patio is open from May through October, weather permitting.
